One day, as a deer was wandering through the forest, he came across a crystal clear pond. As he looked into the water, he saw his own reflection for the first time. The deer was mesmerized by what he saw - his graceful antlers, his soft brown coat, his gentle eyes. He thought to himself, "I am truly the most beautiful creature in the forest." But as he admired his reflection, he noticed something strange - there was another deer staring back at him. This deer looked just like him, with the same antlers, the same coat, the same eyes. The deer was puzzled. How could there be another deer in the pond? He tried to approach the other deer, but every time he moved, so did the reflection. Frustrated, the deer stomped his hoof in anger, causing ripples to disturb the water and shatter the image in the pond. Suddenly, the other deer vanished, leaving the deer alone with his own reflection once more. As he stood there, staring at his reflection, the deer realized the truth - it was just an illusion. He had been fooled into thinking there was another deer, when all along it was just himself. From that day on, the deer learned to appreciate his own beauty without being deceived by false reflections. And he lived happily ever after, content with himself and his place in the forest.
